Getting started with TikTok Shop Spain is easier than you think. Follow our guide and complete these four straightforward steps to set up your account quickly!
Step 1: Choose the Type of Business #
Select the type of business structure that aligns with your operations on TikTok Shop, whether you're a Sole Trader managing your business independently or a Legal Entity operating as a registered company.
Step 2: Provide Seller Information #
Legal Entity #
Ensure the business address you provide matches the market you are applying for on TikTok Shop. The complaint address, which will be publicly visible to users, can either be the same as your business address or a different address you choose. Additionally, you will need to submit the personal information of the business representative in the next step.
Business Representative #
Choose your role within the business: Director, Owner, or Primary Authorized User (requires an authorization letter from the owner). If you’re the ultimate beneficial owner, tick "Yes" in the next step. For personal verification, select Passport or National ID and provide:
- A video selfie with your document.
- A scan of both sides of your ID.
Once you see the green mark confirming "Identity successfully verified," submit your details, including legal name, date of birth, ID number, expiration date, residential address, and proof of address (e.g., a bank statement or utility bill). Ensure the address matches your market application and the evidence is dated within the last three months.
Solo Trader #
To complete identity verification, choose either your Passport or Driver's License and provide the following:
- A video selfie with your document.
- A scan of both sides of your ID.
Once you see the green mark confirming "Identity successfully verified," proceed to submit your details, including your legal name, date of birth, ID number, expiration date, residential address, and proof of address (e.g., a bank statement or utility bill). Ensure the address matches your application's market and the evidence is dated within the last three months.
Next, provide your business-related information:
- Registered business name (it can match your residential address or be different). If you have a registered business, fill in its name and registration number. If not, select "No" and continue.
- The complaint address (publicly visible to customers) can match your business address or be separate.
Step 3: Give Shop Info #
- Shop Name and Logo: Name your shop, which will be displayed to customers on TikTok Shop. Add a shop logo to enhance brand visibility and help customers easily recognize your business.
- Contact Information: Confirm your email and phone number to receive account notifications. Use the exact details as your Seller Center login, or click "Use another" to provide new contact information.
- Identity Verification: If you’re conducting transactions on behalf of someone else, select "Yes" to confirm authorized user status and provide the company’s legal name and business address.
- Application Submission: Review all entered details carefully, tick the consent box, and submit your application. The review process typically takes 2-3 days.
Step 4: Set up Shop #
Assign a Responsible Person
Add responsible individuals through the Qualification Centre. These can be easily selected when creating new product listings.
Input Manufacturer Details
Provide manufacturer information via the Qualification Centre. Once saved, you can link the manufacturer to your products during the listing process.
Organize Shipping and Returns
Set up logistics by entering your pickup and return addresses to ensure seamless delivery and returns.
Provide Customer Service Contact
Add your shop’s contact details for customer support. This information will be visible to users and plays a key role in fostering customer trust.
Set Up Bank Information
Once your account is verified, go to the payment settings to manage your bank details and add a card for withdrawals. Additional bank statement verification may be required. Ensure all details align with the representative's name (for sole traders) or the corporate name (for legal entities). You’ll need:
- Country;
- IBAN;
- BIC;
- Email;
- Bank statement (if requested).
List Your First Product
After the setup, add your first product using the most convenient option.
Link Your TikTok Account
Connect your TikTok account by following the setup steps. This will allow you to post shoppable videos or host live sessions to drive sales.
