This guide will walk you through the steps for listing Simple and Variational products on the Kaufland Global Marketplace using M2E Multichannel Connect.
💡 Watch video tutorials on how to list products on Kaufland:
- Create offers for existing products
- Create new product listings
Step 1. Access Kaufland items #
Navigate to the Listings page and select your Kaufland account. Click the List on Kaufland button located in the top-right corner.

Step 2. Select marketplace #
Choose the Kaufland marketplace where you want to create the listing. You can select from Kaufland Germany, Italy, France, Czechia, Poland, Austria, and Slovakia.

Step 3. Define product settings #
Set relevant Policies for your items, which are settings necessary for listing and selling items on Kaufland. You can choose from existing policies or create new ones.

- Selling Policy: Set product price, available quantity, and handling time.
- Synchronization Policy: Determine how the app synchronizes your listings between your store and Kaufland.
Also, select one of the standard Kaufland conditions for your products:

Step 4. Set the Barcode Source #
In the Barcode Source field, choose where M2E should take the product’s EAN from. Kaufland requires a valid barcode to match your item to a PID, so the selected field must contain a correct EAN.

You can select:
- Product’s native barcode field in your Store
- Custom metafield or attribute that stores the EAN value
- Manual input, if your store doesn’t keep barcodes
ℹ️ Make sure the chosen source contains valid, GS1-registered EANs to avoid listing errors.
Step 5. Choose products to list #
Select the products from your store you want to list on Kaufland. Use the Quick Search field and filters to find them by title, price, quantity, or other parameters.
After selecting your products, click the List Now button. The app will start processing your products for listing on Kaufland.

✅ If you aren’t ready to list items yet, click the Save as Draft button. Listings in Draft status are stored in the app and won’t be submitted to Kaufland until you publish them. Products in your Store with a Draft or Hidden status also won’t sync to Kaufland.
Step 6. Validate the listing data #
Before submitting your items to Kaufland, the M2E Listing Validator Assistant checks them for missing or invalid information. This includes verifying that each product has a valid EAN, can be matched to an existing PID, or has enough data to create a new PID.
The Validator will also highlight empty attributes, missing required details, or data that doesn't meet Kaufland’s listing standards.
If any issues are detected, they will appear in a list with instructions on how to correct them. You can resolve the issues immediately and click List Now, or save the items as Incomplete and return to them later.
