This guide will walk you through the process of listing Simple products on Amazon via M2E Multichannel Connect.

Step 1. Provide Product ID information. #
It's important to ensure each product in your store that you’re going to list on Amazon has a correct product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, or GTIN). This information is crucial because Amazon uses it to match your product with its catalog.
If you don’t supply the identifier data or it’s invalid, you’ll see an ‘Incomplete Listing’ error, and your product won’t be listed on Amazon.
Step 2. Access Amazon items. #
Once you’ve provided the product identifiers in your store, head over to the Listings tab and select your Amazon account. Click the List New Items button at the top right corner.
Step 3. Select marketplace. #
Select an Amazon marketplace where you want to create a listing.
Step 4. Define product settings. #
Set relevant policies for your items, which are settings necessary for listing and selling items on Amazon. You can choose from existing default policies or create new ones.
With Selling Policy, you can set the price and quantity settings for your Amazon listings.
Synchronization Policy helps you define how the app should synchronize your listings between your store and Amazon.
Shipping template contains settings for your preferred shipping methods. If you’ve configured your Shipping template in Amazon Seller Central beforehand, it will appear on the list. You can also create Shipping template right away by clicking +New.
Then, choose one of the standard Amazon conditions for your products.
In the Barcode Source section, you need to supply product identifier information. Either manually enter the barcode value or use a dedicated store attribute.
Step 5. Choose products to list. #
Select the products from your store you want to list on Amazon. Use the Quick Search field to find them by title, price, quantity, or other parameters. Once you have selected all the products you want to list, click the List Now button.
The app will start processing your products for listing on Amazon. Once it’s complete, you can view your products' status in the Listings tab.
If the product in your store has an appropriate product identifier, the app will use this information to create a listing on Amazon. If you haven't supplied the identifier data or it’s invalid, you will see an Incomplete Listing error. It indicates that Amazon needs correct identifier information to create a proper listing for your product.
There are three options for you to fix the error and complete your Amazon listing:
- Assign your product to the existing ASIN (if it is already available in Amazon catalog)
- Add a product under a new ASIN (if you didn't find the right product in Amazon catalog)
- List your product with Amazon GTIN Exemption (if you sell unique products from your brand)

⚠️ If you try to sell a product listed as “Draft” in your store, it will not appear on the marketplace and will be marked as “Incomplete”. Updating the product's status in your store to “Draft” or “Hidden” will deactivate the marketplace listing without deleting it.
To make the product available on the marketplace again, change its status back to “Active” in your store.
How long does an Amazon listing take #
When you submit listings through M2E Multichannel Connect, they are sent to the marketplace via the Amazon API, which doesn't process listings in real-time. Instead, Amazon uses a queue system where requests are handled in the order they’re received.
Typically, listing times range from immediate to several minutes, depending on Amazon’s server load. Delays can happen due to high activity on Amazon’s side or a limit of API requests. If your listing isn’t updated right away, it’s likely waiting in the queue and should process soon.
