The errors "Incorrect dimension of the product" or "Incorrect weight, height, width, length of the product" appear when the required product dimensions and weight are either missing or incorrectly provided.
Temu requires accurate dimension data for all listings, and products without valid dimensions will be rejected during the listing process.
How to fix the error #
Step 1. Identify affected listings #
Go to the Temu Listings tab in the app and find the products affected by the error.
To filter them quickly, click the Groups icon (folder icon). Then, select Action Required > Errors, and click on the relevant error message.

Step 2. Edit package dimensions in the Selling Policy #
Once you’ve filtered affected listings, update the product dimensions via the Selling Policy:
1) Click the affected Temu item and open the product card.
2) Navigate to the Policies tab. Click the eye icon next to the Selling Policy.

3) Scroll down to the Package dimensions section to edit them.
Step 3. Choose how to set the package dimensions #
You can set the package dimensions in the Selling Policy by choosing one of the following options:
1) Default attribute from your Store or Catalog

- The dimensions will be pulled from the default attribute in your store.
- Ensure that dimensions are added and accurate for each product in your store.
2) Custom attribute from your Store

- Select a specific attribute from your store in the dropdown.
- Verify that the selected attribute is assigned to the product and contains valid values.
ℹ️ You can also use M2E Custom Attributes in case the dimensions are not set in your Store or you need different set of values for Temu.
M2E Custom Attributes are the alternative attributes that you can use apart from your store settings. They are created and stored in the M2E application. Make sure to assign the custom attribute to your products and ensure it contains valid values.
3) Custom Value

- Manually input package dimensions.
- This option works best for products of the same type and size.
Step 4. List products to apply changes #
After updating the package dimensions in your Selling Policy, save your changes and list the products to push the update to Temu:
1) Select the affected Temu products in the Listings tab.
2) In the mass actions menu, click the List button.
