Expanding to a new Channel doesn’t have to mean more manual work. With M2E Temu Connect, you can bring your Shopify catalog to the Temu Local marketplace, keep your inventory in sync, and manage orders from one app.
This guide will walk you through the initial setup process.
Step 1. Install the M2E Temu Connect app #
Start by installing the app from the Shopify App Store.
Here’s what to do:
1) Open the M2E Temu Connect page in the App Store.
2) Click Install and follow the prompts to install it.

Once the installation is complete, you’ll be redirected to your setup workspace inside M2E Temu Connect.
Step 2. Link your Temu seller account #
Your Shopify store is already recognized as your main data source. Now it’s time to connect your Temu seller account so you can start syncing product and order data. To do this:
1) Go to the Dashboard tab in M2E Temu Connect.
2) Click Connect Marketplace Account.
3) Authorize access when prompted.

Once connected, you'll see your progress checklist. Use it to track what’s done and what’s next.
Step 3. Match your products to existing Temu listings #
Already have products listed on Temu? Then the app will try to automatically match them to items in your Shopify store using SKU or Product ID.
If some items aren’t matched:
1) Click View Not Linked Products in the Link Products section.

2) You’ll be redirected to the Listings tab.
3) From there, you can manually link the items one by one or in bulk through the CSV file export/import.
⚠️ Synchronization will only work for linked products, so it’s important to confirm all listed items are matched.
💡 Need help with linking your products manually? Follow this guide.
Step 4. Turn on inventory sync #
Now that your products are linked, it’s time to turn on their synchronization. Once enabled, stock levels and product details will automatically update on Temu whenever something changes in Shopify.
1) Go to the Synchronize Inventory step in the app’s setup guide.
2) Click View Not Synced Products.

3) Choose the items you want to sync, either individually or in bulk.
💡 View the full synchronization setup tutorial in M2E documentation.
Step 5. Set up order preferences #
Next, you need to define how M2E Temu Connect should handle incoming orders from Temu:
1) Under Manage Orders, click Order Settings.

2) Toggle on Create Temu orders in Shopify.

This option lets M2E Temu Connect create Shopify orders for each Temu sale, so your stock levels stay accurate and all orders are tracked in one place.
If it is turned off, the system won’t reduce stock in Shopify for Temu orders, which could lead to overselling.
💡 There are additional order settings available in M2E. Learn how to configure them here.
Step 6. Publish your Shopify products to Temu #
If some of your Shopify products aren’t on Temu yet, you can list them in several steps using M2E Temu Connect:
1) Open the List New Items section in the Setup Guide.
2) Click the List on Temu button to begin the listing process.

3) Follow the guided steps to publish products from Shopify to Temu.
