Step 5. Set the eBay category. #

To list items on eBay, you have to set a First Item Category. There are three options to do it:

M2E Cloud eBay Categories
  • Auto-Assign Recommended Category – Click Get recommended categories to have eBay suggest a category based on your product details. The suggestion appears in the purple category box, where you can accept it or change it.
  • Map Store categories to eBay categories – Use your store categories to assign eBay categories automatically. Set the mappings up once and they carry across listings. Check out the category mapping guide for more information.
  • All Products same Category – Choose a single eBay category manually for the whole batch. Ideal when all selected products fall under the same store category.

You can also define the eBay Secondary Catalog Category and eBay Store Categories by clicking Add Additional Category. By providing this information, you will gain increased visibility for your listings.

Step 6. Set item specifics. #

Once you’ve selected the category, make sure to provide required specifics, recommended and custom ones (optional). Then, confirm the changes.

Once you set specifics for every category, proceed to the next step.

Step 7. Make your listings public. #

Once you are ready to publish your listings, click the "List Now" button at the bottom of the screen. Your items will be sent to eBay and will be available for potential buyers.

If you prefer not to list items immediately but wish to preserve your settings, simply click on "Save as Draft". Your items will be stored as drafts in your eBay Listings, and you can publish them with a single click when you're ready.
