The M2E Amazon MCF app connects your BigCommerce store with Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment, allowing you to process orders and handle shipping through Amazon’s FBA network.
With the latest app update, you can synchronize your BigCommerce inventory with Amazon FBA. This means you don’t have to adjust stock manually in two systems. Your store will display accurate product availability, which helps prevent overselling and canceled orders.
This guide shows how to enable inventory synchronization in the M2E Amazon MCF app so your BigCommerce stock automatically reflects real-time FBA quantities.
How to enable Amazon FBA BigCommerce inventory sync #
ℹ️ Before you begin, make sure the BigCommerce Amazon MCF app by M2E is installed and configured.
1) Open the Settings > Orders section in your M2E Amazon MCF app.
2) Enable the toggle “Sync quantity from Amazon Fulfillment to BigCommerce.” Once it’s turned on, the app will use FBA as the source of stock information for your BigCommerce catalog.

3) From the drop-down list, choose how inventory should be updated in BigCommerce:
- Override Existing Quantity – replaces the current BigCommerce stock with the exact FBA quantity.
For example, if BigCommerce shows 4 items and Amazon MCF has 5, the BigCommerce stock will be set to 5.

- Add Existing Quantity – adds FBA stock on top of the current BigCommerce stock.
For example, if BigCommerce shows 4 items and Amazon MCF has 5, the total BigCommerce stock will become 9.

4) Save your changes. The synchronization will now apply to all linked products in your BigCommerce catalog.
Order fulfillment with FBA inventory sync enabled #
Once you activate the BigCommerce stock sync, the order process works like this:
1) Customer places an order – The buyer purchases a product in your BigCommerce store or another connected marketplace, such as eBay, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Temu, or Kaufland.
2) Order is sent to Amazon MCF – M2E imports the order and automatically routes it to Amazon for fulfillment.
3) Amazon ships the order – Amazon handles picking, packing, and delivery to your customer.
4) FBA quantity decreases – Amazon deducts the sold units from your FBA inventory.
5) M2E updates BigCommerce stock – Depending on the sync option you selected (Override or Add), the app updates your BigCommerce inventory accordingly.
As a result, your BigCommerce store always displays the correct stock level from Amazon FBA, which helps you avoid overselling and ensures your customers only buy items that Amazon can fulfill.
With the BigCommerce Amazon MCF app by M2E, you can keep inventory accurate in real-time, streamline order processing, and deliver a more reliable shopping experience for your buyers.
