Does M2E Cloud only feed inventory data via Amazon's FBA inventory?
M2E Cloud supports both FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and non-FBA (merchant-fulfilled) inventory. You can choose which warehouse or stock location feeds each sales channel.
Can I set rules for which warehouse to use per channel?
You can assign specific warehouses or inventory sources to each channel (for example, Warehouse A for Amazon and Warehouse B for Ecwid).
What happens if warehouse A (for Amazon) runs out of stock, but warehouse B (for Ecwid) still has inventory?
M2E cloud only syncs inventory from the warehouse assigned to each channel. If Warehouse A (Amazon) is out of stock, your Amazon listing will show zero, even if Warehouse B (Ecwid) still has stock.
🔄 Data Flow & Sync Frequency #
How often does M2E Cloud sync inventory and pricing between Ecwid and Amazon? Can I adjust the sync frequency?
Sync happens almost in real time, typically every 15 minutes to 1 hour. The sync schedule can’t be manually changed in the dashboard or toolbar. It’s based on how M2E Cloud connects with the Amazon API and how often Amazon allows updates.
If Ecwid is fed by my ERP, and Amazon is fed by M2E Cloud, can the sync be unidirectional from ERP → Ecwid → Amazon?
M2E Cloud integrates directly with Ecwid, so the data flow will always be from Ecwid to Amazon. It does not matter what system (ERP, PIM, or anything else) updates Ecwid – M2E Cloud will pull the changes from Ecwid and push them to Amazon. Ecwid remains the single source of data for M2E Cloud, regardless of where Ecwid gets its data.

Does M2E Cloud support pulling product data from Ecwid via API, or must I manually upload or sync items into M2E?
M2E Cloud connects to Ecwid via API and pulls product data automatically. You don’t need manual uploads after initial setup.
Is there a webhook or event-based sync method for near real-time updates from Ecwid to M2E?
M2E Cloud uses frequent polling and also supports webhooks and API-based triggers for certain real-time events, like order creation or stock change
Can M2E Cloud push order data back to Ecwid or my ERP? Or is it read-only on the order side?
M2E Cloud can push Amazon order data into Ecwid. This lets you process Amazon orders like regular store orders. If your ERP connects to Ecwid, it can access and fulfill those orders as well.

Does M2E Cloud allow partial product publishing to Amazon (i.e., only selected SKUs)?
You have full control and can choose which SKUs to publish and sync with Amazon.
How are orders managed – will Amazon orders be pushed into Ecwid or ERP for fulfillment, or stay siloed in M2E Cloud?
You can choose:
- Push Amazon orders into Ecwid (and to your ERP, if connected) for unified fulfillment
- Or manage orders separately in M2E Cloud
This works for both FBA and FBM orders.

Can I apply different pricing rules per channel (e.g., 10% markup for Amazon only)?
M2E Cloud lets you apply custom pricing rules per channel. You can set markups or other formulas for Amazon listings without affecting Ecwid prices.
Is there a sandbox or test mode so I can simulate sync behavior before going live?
There is no separate sandbox or simulation mode. However, M2E Cloud offers a free 30-day trial, giving you full access to all features and enough time to test the integration with your actual data before committing. This trial lets you evaluate the product’s benefits and determine whether you need any additional features.
What level of support is available during onboarding? Does M2E offer assisted setup, or is it fully self-serve?
M2E Cloud supports both options. Most paid plans include assisted onboarding, setup help, email support, and detailed documentation for users who prefer self-serve.
