The WooCommerce Amazon MCF solution from M2E connects your store with Amazon’s FBA logistics, making it easy to process sales and rely on Amazon for delivery.
When using M2E Amazon Fulfillment MCF for WooCommerce, the app can automatically adjust product availability in your store based on changes in your Amazon FBA inventory. Follow this guide to set it up and prevent overselling or canceled orders.
Configure WooCommerce inventory sync with Amazon FBA #
ℹ️ Make sure you have the M2E Amazon MCF app installed and set up in your WooCommerce admin before moving on. This guide will walk you through the initial configurations.
2) Activate the option “Sync quantity from Amazon Fulfillment to WooCommerce”. This makes your Amazon FBA inventory the primary source of stock levels for products in WooCommerce.
Next, decide how M2E should update quantities in WooCommerce:
- Override Existing Quantity – WooCommerce will mirror the FBA product quantity, replacing the current stock value. For instance, WooCommerce shows 6 units, FBA has 8 > WooCommerce updates to 8.
- Add Existing Quantity – WooCommerce keeps its current stock and increases it by the amount available in FBA. For instance, WooCommerce shows 6, FBA has 8 > WooCommerce updates to 14.
3) Set the Inventory Source for WooCommerce Location. Here, you select the WooCommerce location (country) that will be updated with stock levels from Amazon FBA.
4) Save your settings. Now, M2E will automatically adjust WooCommerce stock for all linked FBA listings according to the rule you’ve selected.
Order lifecycle with FBA stock synchronization #
When FBA stock sync is turned on, M2E processes MCF orders in the following way:
1) Buyer makes a purchase. An order comes in either from your WooCommerce storefront or one of the connected marketplaces, like eBay, TikTok Shop, Temu, etc.
2) Order is sent and fulfilled. M2E passes the order to MCF, where Amazon takes care of the entire process: picking, packing, and shipping to your buyer.
3) Stock updates in WooCommerce. Once the order ships, Amazon deducts the units from FBA. M2E updates the WooCommerce location you linked as the Inventory Source, based on the sync mode you’ve chosen (Override or Add).
