Once your TikTok Shop seller account is linked to M2E Multichannel Connect, you can start managing your existing TikTok Shop listings, as well as list products from your store on TikTok Shop.
This guide will walk you through the process of creating new listings on TikTok Shop via M2E Multichannel Connect.

Step 1. Access TikTok Shop items #
Navigate to the Listings tab. Choose your TikTok Shop account and click List on TikTok in the top right corner of the grid.
Step 2. Select a TikTok Shop #
Select your TikTok Shop where you want to create a listing.
Step 3. Define product settings. #
Set relevant policies for your items, which are settings necessary for listing and selling items on TikTok Shop. You can choose from existing default policies or create new ones.
With Selling Policy, you can set the price and quantity settings for your TikTok Shop listings.
Synchronization Policy helps you define how the app should synchronize your listings between your store and TikTok Shop.
Using Description Policy, you can specify the source for product titles and descriptions of your TikTok Shop listings.
Once done, click Next.
Step 4. Select products to list. #
Select items from your store to list on TikTok Shop. Use the Quick Search field and filters to easily find your items by title, SKU, store attributes, or category. Once the items are selected, click Next.

Step 5. Set the TikTok Shop category #
To list items on TikTok Shop, you have to set a relevant category. There are three ways to do it:
- Auto-Assign Recommended Category – Click Get recommended categories, and TikTok will propose a category based on your product details. Check the suggestion shown in the purple category box, then confirm it or adjust it yourself.
- Map Store categories to TikTok categories – Match your store categories to TikTok categories so assignment happens automatically. Define each mapping once and it carries over to every listing afterwards. See full mapping instructions in the guide.
- All Products same Category – Select one TikTok Shop category manually for the whole batch. This is the most suitable option when every selected product belongs to the same store category.
ℹ️ Some TikTok Shop categories require approval before you can list products under them. If your selected category needs authorization, you’ll see a relevant message in the app.

Step 6. Define attributes. #
Once you’ve selected the category, make sure to set required and recommended attributes to make it easier for shoppers to find your items. Then, confirm the changes.
ℹ️ By default, the app will use predefined custom fields or attributes from your store or TikTok Shop. You can select a different attribute or a custom field that contains a relevant value.
âś… At any time, you can change the category and add/edit attributes per item in the product card under the General section. To access the product card, click on the item in the grid.
Step 7. Make your listings public. #
When your listings are complete and ready to go live, click the "List Now" button to submit your items to TikTok Shop for review. Be aware of TikTok Shop's approval process, as listings may be subject to review before going live.
If you prefer not to list items immediately but want to save your progress, click "Save as Draft". Your items will be stored as drafts in your TikTok Shop Listings, and you can publish them with a single click at a later time.
⚠️ If you try to sell a product listed as “Draft” in your store, it will not appear on the marketplace and will be marked as “Incomplete”. Updating the product's status in your store to “Draft” or “Hidden” will deactivate the marketplace listing without deleting it.
To make the product available on the marketplace again, change its status back to “Active” in your store.
Troubleshooting #
Once your items are sent to TikTok Shop, some may not be listed immediately, often due to missing or incorrect information. The app will notify you of any issues and help you list the products.
Switch to the Action Required view to see the affected items. Here, you can group items by errors and click on the icon next to the status to view the error details and recommended solutions.
