Selling more than one unit of the same product in a single listing (also called selling in “multipacks” or “lots”) is a great way to offer more value to buyers and sell items faster. M2E Multichannel Connect makes it easy to manage multipacks on eBay, TikTok Shop, and Walmart.
What is a multipack #
A multipack is a group of identical products bundled together and sold as one item. For example, you can sell a pack of 3 instead of a single towel.
You can also sell a Multipack of Multipacks, for example, two 6-packs of the same product (e.g., "Case of 2 x 6-packs").
With M2E, you can define a multipack in your Channel listing without changing the quantity in your store's catalog. When a customer buys one pack, your store will receive an order for the total number of individual items in that pack, for example, 3 towels.
How to set up multipacks #
1) Go to your Selling Policy in M2E Multichannel Connect.
2) Enable the “Multipacks” option.
3) Enter the number of items in the pack (e.g., 3).

4) Using the Price Modification section, adjust the price to reflect the entire pack, not just a single unit.
Ways to sell in multipacks #
1. Single SKU with Quantity > 1 #
Use case: One product in your catalog, but you want to sell multiple units under one SKU.
Label: “Pack of 6”, “6 Pieces”
How it works on Channels:
- eBay: Fully supported.
- TikTok Shop: Supported with correct attributes.
- Walmart: Works but may trigger pricing issues if barcode matches a single unit.
2. Multipack (Custom or with a Unique Barcode) #
Use case: You create a bundled product like a “6-Pack” and register it with a unique barcode (UPC).
Label: “Multipack of 6”, “6-Pack”
How it works on Channels:
- Fully supported on eBay and TikTok Shop.
- Must have a unique barcode (UPC) on Walmart to avoid price rule violations.
3. Multipack of Multipacks #
Use case: You’re selling sets of already bundled items (e.g., a case of 2 six-packs).
Label: “Case of 2 x 6-packs”
Requirements:
- Should have a unique barcode.
- Quantity and unit count must be clear in the title and description.
How it works on Channels:
- eBay and TikTok Shop: Allowed and flexible.
- Walmart: Requires a unique UPC.
Overview of listing multipacks on marketplaces #
Here’s a quick summary of how multipacks can be listed on the Channels using M2E:
| Marketplace | Multipack (e.g., 6-pack) | Multipack of Multipacks (e.g., 2×6-pack) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| eBay | Very flexible | Allowed | No strict rules, but clear titles help |
| TikTok Shop | Allowed | Allowed | Be accurate in quantity, unit count, and title |
| Walmart | With a unique barcode | With unique barcode | Avoid listing bundles using the same UPC as a single item |
Final tips #
- Label your packs clearly (e.g., "Pack of 6", "Case of 2 x 6-packs").
- Use unique barcodes when required (especially on Walmart).
- Make sure the price matches the full pack, not a single unit.
