Shopify Kaufland Quick Setup Guide

M2E Kaufland Global Connect allows you to make your Shopify products available on Kaufland, update stock and prices across both platforms, and bring Kaufland orders into Shopify so you ship them from one place.

The guide covers everything you need to integrate Kaufland Global Marketplace with your Shopify store.

Step 1. Install the app #

1. In the Shopify App Store, search for M2E Kaufland Global Connect.
2. On the app listing, click Install and grant the permissions Shopify asks for.
3. Once the installation finishes, open the app from your Shopify admin.

Step 2. Connect your Kaufland account #

Shopify is assigned as your primary data source, so now you need to link your Kaufland seller account to M2E.

1. Open the Dashboard inside the app.
2. Click Connect Marketplace Account.
3. Provide your Client ID and Client Secret to complete the connection. The credentials guide shows where to find both values in your Kaufland Seller Portal.

Connecting your account launches the Setup Guide automatically, which takes you through the rest of the configuration.

Step 3. Link products to existing Kaufland listings #

If you already sell on Kaufland, M2E will import your listings and link them to your Shopify products using SKUs or Product IDs. If the products cannot be matched, you will need to link them manually:

1. In the Setup Guide's Link Products step, click View Not Linked Products.
2. You'll land on the Listings page with the unlinked products.
3. Link the products individually or in bulk through CSV export and import.

⚠️ The app won’t be able to synchronize unlinked products, so make sure all your active listings are linked.

Step 4. Turn on inventory synchronization #

To allow M2E to send every stock or product update from Shopify to Kaufland, you need to enable inventory sync for linked products:

1. Go to the Synchronize Inventory step in the Setup Guide.
2. Click View Not Synced Products.
3. Switch on sync per product or for several products at once. See the synchronization guide for both methods.

Step 5. Set up order management #

Now you need to decide whether your Kaufland sales turn into orders inside Shopify.

1. Open Order Settings under Manage Orders in the Setup Guide.
2. Turn on Create Kaufland orders in Shopify and choose the start date for order creation.

With the setting on, each Kaufland sale generates a corresponding Shopify order. This way, you can handle and fulfill Kaufland orders from your store's admin. 

Leave order creation off, and Shopify won't reduce stock when Kaufland sales come in, which risks overselling.

ℹ️ After enabling order creation, you can adjust further order settings that control how Kaufland orders are brought into Shopify.

Step 6. List Shopify products on Kaufland #

Got Shopify products that aren't on Kaufland yet? You can publish them through M2E Kaufland Global Connect.

1. Find the List New Items section in the Setup Guide.
2. Click List on Kaufland.
3. Work through the listing wizard to submit your ready-to-list products from Shopify to Kaufland.
